Is there any difference between the spline dealie on a manual steering box compared to a PS unit? The real question: will the Calmini drop pitman arm fit onto a manual steering box?

I just installed or rather still in the process of, (weirdo bracket being fabed) Power steering on my Tracker the Pitman Arms are the exact same. So the drop one should work.
Good luck, on the SAS. By the way are using Leafs or Coils. I'm sure you said but I don't remember.

Excellent.
Now for a real noobie question: Since you seem to have had your pitman arm off, is there any reason why it couldn't be rotated 180 degrees?
As far as the SAS: using the Scout II front leaves in the front, and I'm still debating on whether I want to do a true one link in the rear with the single, perpendicular leaf pack, or the one link with panhard and coils in the rear.

From what I saw, I don't see any reason that the 180* wouldn't work with the pitman arm. depending on you set up, I'm guessing that you'll clear the factory steering limiter thingys on you chasis.
Sounds like a simple and fun set up. I"ve got a buddy who's trying to give me a Dana 30 still, (I posted on it about 6 months ago) but waiting until I totally destroy the IFS system first. Getting closer ;D

Just had a thought about spinning the pitman arm: it'd reverse the steering :-X
I wonder how much stronger a stock D30 is than the IFS stuff.
