Title: how much would u spend

how much would or did u spend to get ur rig to were u want it . i am about to start building my cherokee and have spent over $4000 on lift, skid plates, axles, gears, lockers, slip yoke, driveshaft, exocage, bumpers, and have to get rims and tires 38" irocs. after that i am going to finish my sas on my tracker. well who am i kidding is a rig ever really finished.

My XJ is up to $9k... And this was a budget buildup. Still not done and it's only riding 33's.

approximates ...

new tires/used rims = $500
body lift + spring spacers = $150
"sorting" it out (fluids, filters, parts, etc) = $100
regear (plus spares) = $250
rear locker (mini-spool) = $100
front locker (lockrite+machining+setup) = $350
herculiner = $100
cb and antenna = $150

so $1700 and it's got very little more needed. Tracker + a used hardtop was $1800, so all total I'm probably around $3500 for the complete rig. Could be done cheaper ... and some bits were things I added cuz I wanted it (e.g. herculiner).

I might have another $500 I'd spend for cage/bumbers when I get to it.

What ever I could get my hands on.
(I'm no fabricater)
So Far I've spent a pretty bundle and haven't regreted anything I've bought so far. ;D

well...when I first got it.....if it didn't come out of a boneyard for cheep, it wasn't going on my sami!  
But here lately, I've been dropping some serious coin on the thing :o
