Hi, just bought my 4th Suzuki, this time a 92 Samurai. It developed a oil leak from the front of the motor. Had the front crank oil seal and the sump gasket replaced by suzuki main dealer in the UK. I then drove 550 miles back to Spain and the leak has reappeared, not as bad though. I've also got smoke coming from crankcase breather pipe with engine running, and oily sludge in airbox! What should I look at first?? Is the engine shot, is it top or bottom end ?? Any advice is appreciated.
Many thanks, Neil

Look at the PCV valve!

Thanks for the advice, is there any way of testing the PCV valve, or should I just get a replacement?
Thanks, Neil

As inexpensive and easy to replace as they are, just install a new one.  I probably needs to be replaced even if it doesn't fix your problem.
It is screwed into the intake manifold and has a hose clamped to it.  Remove the hose, unscrew the PCV valve, screw the new one in, reinstall the hose, you are finished!  :D

DOUBLE CHECK THE T ABOVE THE PCV VALVE. IT SOMETIMES GETS PLUGGED WITH SLUDGE. IF ITS PLUGGED IT WILL SMOKE REAL BAD
