Been looking but can't find any... I suppose 1 inch is enough for the 1.5" coil spacers I want to put.
Thanks

For that ammount you can flip the upper strut mount. There is a recent thread showing details of how to do the flip. As far as I know the only ones around come with the Calmini lift kits and are not sold seperate. There are a few people that have made their own though.

Yeah I read that, I guess I'll just do the flip. I wanted a little more than 3/4" drop though. But I guess it'll do.

Do a search on struts. The Old Man Emu Strut is a bit longer than the factory. Just watch allowing it to drop to far. If you barely push it to far, you will start over extending the CV's and can break them easier.

I have made strut spacers but I have yet to find anyone selling them. Everyone says not enough interest...

Try Procomp. I have heard that Procomp UK sell strut spacers or Deldana in Brazil (do a search on here for a link). Their website is all foreign language but they answer emails in english

I guess I could always flip the strut mount it and space it out with a few pieces of tin. I don't have a fancy plasma cutter, and my drill sucks ;)
-
If you could get hold of some 1/2" plate or similar and some longer bolts theres no reason why you couldn't do the strut flip and space it a bit. If you look at the Calmini 2" kit that relies on the strut flip for extra front travel there are two thin spacers/shims that fit inside the strut mount to 'fill' it so the pressed edge isn't against the bodywork (thats a really rubbish explanation but I have been drinking ;)). As long as it sits square the finish isn't critical you could chain drill and file it to shape - I have made lots of parts that way in the past.

Header collectors off of a small block Cheby, Ford, whatever, work as spacers also. That is pretty much what Calmini sends you for a spacer.

I have 3/4 and 1" allum. strut spacers avalible if flipping the mount is not enough for your app. like zig said to much droop and cvs will start to blow out. :'(

Cwkick....how much lift does your kick have? it's a small picture, but it looks lifted. i'm trying to find a good picture of a track kick with 2 or 3 inches of lift....on flat ground so i can get an idea of how the trackkick's stance is.

my lifted vitara.

i wont be using the strut spacers anymore, as this was the absolute max you can go before you get chronic CV problems. my strut spacers were 2" and used on top of the factory suzuki struts. DO NOT FLIP THE STRUT MOUNT with 1.5"+ spacers fitted. doesn not work.
i am getting OME struts, which have 40mm longer stroke then the stock suzuki one, and i will run this with a strut mount flip. in theory,it works out to be the same as a 2" strut spacer and standard struts.
where i am, there isnt much rock or hard terrain to drive on, its mainly loose stuff, and or mud. so my CVs have held up ok, and driving style is directly related to failure of CVs.

It has a Calmini 2" lift on it.  If you look through the article archives there is an article called On Higher Ground.
It is all about the install of this lift.
Is is a bigger picture that Zig took when he stopped to visit me on his way to Moab.  8)

Here's a shot of my Tracker sitting on 1" coil spacers and a 2" body lift with 31" Swampers(for the guy that wanted to see a Track/kick sitting on 2-3" of lift on level ground):

I called bds and they wanted to sell me the struts and the spacer. So I don't know if you can get the spacer seperate or not.

i made my own as well 2"strut spacers. i havent had any problems yet, been driving on them now for about 3 months. and i beat the crap out of it. there is one other thing you can do to get a little more travel (down travel).take the lower ball joint and flip it. it sits under the a arm know put it on top and it will give you about 3\4"more down travel. i am as high as i can go with out going sas.
