Title: lj80 carb

I am running a 1979 lj80 & having carb probs.
to start with it has poor fuel economy & it will idle fine 1 day & the next it will  barely idle & if I set the idle up - the next time I start it it will be idleing way too high. The exhaust is very rich. Help

Does that LJ80 have a single sidedraft carb? No matter, I'd suggest giving Rick at Hawk Strictly Suzuki a call |removethispart|@ 888-SAMURAI. Last I knew, he had some rebuild kit and, I think, rebuilt carbs for that engine.

If that doesn't work, I think you should sell me the LJ80! :)

I tried Hawks  Today but they couldn't help.

I'll have to post a pic next week went I get a chance of the LJ 80 my mate scored for free. He asked me if I was interested in doing a rebuild with him, I had a look at it - rebuild, whats left to rebuild ??  ;D

I found a carb kit from NARDEK
They said I should have it in 7- 10 days
Hope It solves My problem
