Title: 1.3 intake and exhaust on 1.6 block and head

I have a 94 1.6 engine that I want to put in my Sammy.  I was wondering if in could just pull the 1.6 block and head and reuse the 1.3 intake and exhaust manifolds with the 1.3 ECU?  Has anybody done this before?  I figured that it would be like having the 1.3 bored over if the manifolds fit.

It works if the 1.3 is fuel injected.

ive heard from a lot of people that use the 1.3 intake even if its carbureted or injected, as long as it is an 8v 1.6, not the 16v

Ive even seen a 16 vlave that a guy made a mainfold for so he could put a carb. on it. I think I remember reading he diddnt want to fuss with the efi.

Hawk puts the Sammi 1.3 head on the 1.6 block for their conversion kit so you can utilize all you old equipment.

Sounds like I am going to be able to put a little more power into my rig now that I can put the 1.6 in it.
