I just rebuilt my manual tanny in a 92 sidekick. As I was reataching the rear drive shaft I noticed that it had a big dent in it. When I get up about 50 miles per hour the car starts to vibrate. And I can't hear anything coming from the tranny.
So my question is this dent in the driveshaft the most likley cause of this noise or do you think that I have to pull the tranny back out.
Any advice would be great

It's definately the driveshaft. NOT the tranny. If you have a dent in the driveshaft, it's unbalanced. Since it's not balanced, while spinning, it will vibrate.

and that is now the weak spot it the drive shaft, ask me how I know ;D
