i'd like to pick up a set of wheels and tires for everyday driving so i can save my mudders for off roading. I believe my tires are 31 inches in diameter, though they measure a little more than 30 from grade to eyeballing top.
I was hoping to call around to some junkyards and find a wheel that fits a samurai with tires already on.
Got any advice on what makes and models of truck would have a swappable wheel? I wouldnt mind a 16 or 17 inch rim with lower profile tires.
thanks
Chris

the bolt pattern is 5 on 5.5 and is common on ford 1/2 tons and jeep CJ's any of the newer jeeps won't work they are 5on4.5. You can find some 16" but they are hard to get unless you buy new.

older 70's Bronco wheels will work, too...

Check the XL-7 and GV section here. Some of them come with Alum. 16's I believe. Maybe you can catch someone getting rid og the stockers.
