Just found out the steering extension was actually inside the bodylift box! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
I just called RRO, and they were telling me it was inside a bag, which I know wasn't anywhere, but when they descibed the actual pieces I found them at the bottom of the BL box. I'm still missing my Warn Hub fuses, which they will ship now. I'm happy with them again ;D. Emails with them are slow, but phone was excellent.

Hey, doesn't Nomad's XL-7 have the Calmini 2.5" lift and not the RRO RockSteady 4" combo... ::)

Yeah they kinda jumped the gun on that one. Glenn is sending me the new OME springs for the XL-7s as soon as they are done. Then it will be RRO except for the A-Arms. That is if the OME springs fit in the Calmini a-arm. I may have to go back to the stock ones. The Calmini springs are not giving up as much lift as they claim. Unless they fix it, I will be better off with RRO - OME set-up.

WHOA! Wait a min! OME is gonna make springs for the XL7?!?! I was told they weren't just 5 months ago! THIS IS GREAT! Hell I was just about to call Calmini tonight to order the 2.5" kit... Funk dat! I'll wait.

Do take note that the Calmini control arm for the front has a replaceable lower balljoint. This is a benefit in a couple of ways. First, obvious, no need to replace the control when ball joint goes bad, like in the stock form. Second, ball joint can be placed above or below depending on the lift. Third, it's been stated that you could fit a better bigger ball joint, fitting for a Toyota, onto the Calmini arm.

So having the lower control arm of the Calmini kit is a positive one.

Yep OME has springs for the XL-7 as well as shocks and struts. There is a press release that reports this on ARBUSA website. So I will keep you guys informed to when it comes in and installation and ride quality and the like.

SWEET! Know if the Snorkle or bullbar are available yet for the XL7's?

Snorkles are available at suzisport.com and a few Taiwan places. No reports on the ARB units as yet. Although a guy posted in one of these recent threads he got a Hi-lux one from one manufacturer to fit up nicely.

Yeah they are working on getting the mods I did done to a few kits first. Should be a much easier install thought when it is complete. The kit they are putting together will include all the extra tid bits as well.

You could send Glenn an email and see when he thinks they may be done with a kit or 2. gwbuild|removethispart|@rocky-road.com

Tell him I sent ya . . .   ;D

Blacknight, in your inquiry, add my name also. See if Glenn can recall our first meeting back in 95 at the Dakota Challenge. You know he ran a red Sami with 33 Thornbirds of all things....

Here is a shot of my snorkel, its the HiLux one you refer to. If you look carefully you can see sliders too and a side on of the bullbar. I am also waiting for some good suspension, watching the RRO site.

Ok, I know what a Hi-lux is, what year though? And what's the specs on your bull bar?

Hi-Lux is a (US) Toyota pickup 86-95 if I am correct.

Also any other shots of your rig? Closeups on the snorkle, bumper?

..you can see why I need better (higher) suspension

The bar is not ARB. The front bar is designed specifically for the XL7 and is made by ECB
http://www.ecb.com.au/model/Gvitara.htm
I have however added ARB foglights and bullar inserts
http://www.arb.com.au/default.htm?menu.htm&0 (Go to bull bars Sahara and see 7 Recessed IPF fog lights )

Well went and did today I now have a RRO 2" body lift on it's way  :) .  They still don't  have one for the XL's so I order the GV one  ;D I will just have to do what nomaad did plus add a missing spacer.  Now lets see how long it takes to get here.
