Give hawk a call as rember when Tim put an ARB in he had to swap some parts from a sidekick in.  I know they know which parts and what not.

Im gonna call today

well they say there different part numbers but the spider gears were the same part number so i wanna get ahold of a V6 rear diff and get some measurments.
-
So do you have an 2001 or an 2002? I know on the website RRO says the lockright works through 01. I have no idea what differences there are between 01 and 02 though.
-
I checked for 2001 2002 same thing im just wondering if its just the outter spider gear that has a bigger center for the bigger axles. Im gonna look for a V6 rear diff i know guys on here have a v6 rear diff.
-
It's the XL-7 rear that they won't work with and I that that in 03 the GV's started to get the same rear but I could be wrong about that.
-
Im not sure i wanna find a v6 GV rear diff and check it out
-
Any new developements here?
-
not yet im looking for a GV rear end to measure it all up and see if a locer will work. anyone have a spare GV rear diff
-
i've had arb airlockers in the front and rear of my 03 GV. In 03 the ring gear changed size so I used the 3rd from a Vit/tracker. the axle splines are all the same on the GV/vits/trackers on the XL7 they are 27.
So you could grab a Vit\tracker 3rd and put the autolocker into that. and change your R/P's over to 5.125 front and rear if your a manual, this let you run 33's to get back to stock ratios :)
now the bad news, you'll need to be careful running the rear locker I started to play very hard and snapped 3 axles in 3 trips. everytime is snapped a had the cars weight on one wheel trying to drive up steep steps.

Are you talking about using the ring gear from the vit/tracker of the 90s (worldwide), or the newer style vit/tracker from 99-02? So did the gears change between 2002 & 2003, so the 2001 and 2002 might/should work ok?
