As promised here is my protype CAI system.  Tube is not  production version, just had a local muffler shop bend a 3" piece for me.  Production version will be mandrel bent aluminum tube.  Airfilter is off my Swift GT I'm still waiting for the correct filter to arrive.  Silicone connector and clamps will be probably change also.

Not to sure about the color of the bracket and tube, will be decided later.

I'm not sure.  I made it to fit the 2.5L GV and possible the 2.7  XL-7.

What side is the airbox on in the 2.0L Vitara?

Not very practible when you go through big water crossings does this come with a snorkel attachment or is this only for the street suzi...    ???

Not havin a go at you  but have you thought about off-roaders version as well?

Looks really nice but I'm not sure it shall work off-road.
I bet a lot of dust will be going directly to the engine, and if water gets there :-X. The stock air filter (at least in diesel engine) has a little valve at the bottom to let water out, and besides, I think it is a little harder for water to get through.
Just my thoughts! :D
