Post by: weaver on July 11, 2005, 07:43:18 PM
as i prieviously mentioned,,,,
also how do you alter the shifters?  they sent me the extenders and i know i have to weld them , but where and how hard is this to do.... do the shifters just twist out or something , or do you have to cut them out and weld, then weld them back in???

Don't know about the suzuki shifters but I did it in a toyota, it was simple
1. remove the boot
2. was like 4 10mm bolts & snap ring holding the shifter in
3. pulled right out
4. re-installed in reverse order

 The suzuki's should be similar
Hope that helps some
Steve

Suzuki is easy, remove boots, then there shound be a spring loaded collar that is down in the transmission, press down, turn (ccw I think) and remove, then the shifter will pick up out of the transmission.

I extended mine in the straight part.
