I have to fix some things though, for example I hont have 4wd since the front driveshaft is tied up on a crossmember. It cant reach the front axle needs aprox 4".The angle of the rear driveshaft is not very good due to the lift. The panhard at syspension drop hits slightly the front axle on top....You see the truck is lowered now 2" than the desired lift.
On the front end I use custom springs, using captive mounts upper and lower,Pro comp shocks. The front set up is a 3 link and the rear is still the 3" lift Calmini lift with 1 1/2" spring spacers. All the mounting parts, trailing arms,coil-shock mounts were fabricated by myself and a welder. The front steel bumper is also custom made, made piece by piece.
All the problems I mention above will be fixed when I ll receive the kicker 3 from OTT.Then I will lift the truck to the desired height (I cant do it now-driveshaft angles),I will put new driveshafts with slip yoke on the center (since with the kicker 3,the driveshafts will be bolted on the Samurai t-case) ,the panhard will be located to the proper position and everything will be fine).
I will make new longer trailing arms on the rear (as I did on the front) ,new bigger (almost double size) A link, and news coil springs.
Special thanks to
Heather and Nate Galvin (the front axle is their previous hubrid one),

GRVIT, your kick's looking great... glad to see it coming together. ;D
I'm putting D44's in my [formerly]tintop 2dr... so there's another one :)

Thank you.I took some pics today ,its not the best my truck can do cause as I said ,its is lowered, and I didnt lift it with the forklift as much as I could due to the fear of causing damage somewhere...When I ll change the coil springs with new bigger ones, and the appropriate lbrs, and when I ll get the rear end modified (new longer trailing arms and new bigger A link) as well as the driveshafts,
the result will be much better.

Yeah ,I ll do that ,thanks ;)
D44 seems to be the best choice,I know but here in Greece is very difficult to find them and especially at a good price.Jeeps here are treated (on/off road ) like Mercedes. They dont see mud or dirt more than 5 times a year.So availability is very limited.
I think I m o.k with my set up ,you all know Heather's hybrid axle with the stronger halfshafts.I will change the drums on the rear axle (5 bolt) and to 4 bolt in order to be able to get Calmini's stronger rear halfshafts, and I guess I ll be o.k with 32's and lockers.

Hi :)
Yes it rides fine, especially now that I have lowered it 2 -3" and put stiffer coils on the front. Now its what you see in the photos above. It rides almost as it did with the IFS.And I dont have an anti sway bar on the front.I can run and turn fast as I did with the IFS set up.
At least that how it feels now with the stiffer ,lowered coils. When I say lowered ,I mean the frame rails are 16" from the ground with 31's.I think the final height will be around 20-21".
One problem I have now is that when suspension compresses violently ,the panhard hits the differential or/and the custom crossmember (you know which one is this).Of course this happens cause the truck is lowered until I get the kicker 3.But on normal on-off road driving I dont have this problem.

It will get 2 more inches of lift from suspension when I ll replace the current coils on the front (the new ones are QA1 12"-200 Lbs) and modify the rear upper and lower coil mounts.

what front axle is that
-
what front axle is that
it is a 7 year old one....... the last post was in 2005 :P
i beleive that is a samurai hybred axle the galvins had for a year or two........sammy knuckles, sidekick center, (probably)sammy shafts.
good luck!
