Title: hood prop

Hi everyone, my 89 sidekick has a hood prop that came with the car but it isnt mounted anywhere in the engine compartment, I dont see any holes or places to put it so i can prop up the hood, does anyone have any ideas of where it should go or any pictures.  Thanks.

The hole on my 95 2dr is right to the inside of the drivers headlite
