Hi there,
I was just wondering where to start tightening my parking brake.....it doesnt hold on anything steep
and i want to change to removable doors but im not comfortable cutting on the hinges.....is there a kit with premade hinges? what about premade mirror brackets?
I was thinking about trying to hang the mirrors off of those screws at the top of the window.......
any thoughts would be awesome
thanks
Chris

check by looking at your rear brakes, you may not have any brake shoes left and your self adjuster is probably seazed, once it's all new, it should work fine

CUTTING THE HINGES IS EASY. USE A DREMEL TOOL

Im mainly concerned about the paint thing...... its was painted right before i bought it and i dont want to repaint it for a few years, so a sliced hinge would be bare metal and rust..........
I was hoping someone had a stainless steel hinge with lift off that i could order, but i havent found anything like that.

paint the hinge black. it will go with the truck

Thats a damn good idea......now i just needa couple sets of door hinges as spares after i cut the first set wrong........ ;D

About the brakes, I second that. The rear shoes are probably shot...

I just pulled a friends apart and he bent one of the brake shoes on one end and ruined the backing plate. frist time that I have seen that.
