Hi guys,
I own a samurai mod 93 soft top made in spain and Im interested to know the most common problems that thease cars face and how to deal with it .
I think that It will be a very interesting and educational discussion theme
Par example ... Im unable to "set" My first gear if my sammi is moving I have first to completely stop my sammy in order to do it
Is this a common problem?
can I fix it ?
Regards

I'm not positive, but I think that might be the way it's supposed to be, so you don't jam the shifter into 1st by accident while driving at a reasonable speed in 2nd or even 4th.

Try adjusting the clutch.
-
They all seem to be a little stiff going into first
Eg: The syncros are fine in my wifes kick but if I want first at anykind of speed I have to double clutch.

That seems about normal for just about any vehicle with a manual transmission. :-\

You should be able to slip it into 1st moving slowly - try adjusting the clutch.

I think the engine, at 62 HP
is the weakest point ;)
