Hey
How'd the rest of the body lift and modifying the shifters go over the weekend?

I don't know about him but I just finished installing my 3"+3" on the weekend. did the suspension last weekend and the body lift this weekend. What a b*tch! the Body lift was way harder than the suspension!
The shifters are tricky the tcase was not bad but I am going to have to play with the tranny one some more as it hits the dash a bit now and I still need to clearance the rear of the opening some more as it pops out of second when you let off the gas!
I also forgot about the lines from the power steering resevoir and when I jacked the body up the one from the res to the box popped off spewing PS fluid all over the ground ::)

The body lift is way harder to install then the suspenstion, unless you live on the rust belt ;)
The lines to my PS resevoir got short but never came off, but i did move it down one hole so the lines had slack. I don't think there is anything wrong with only having one bolt holding the PS resevoir on as it just holds fluid.

I still haven't found anyone that can weld up extensions for me >:(

Any auto body shop should have a welder and be able to stick them back together for you if there are no machine shops around.

let me know if you have any questions  :P You could do the lift and do the shifter later as once you put it in 2wd you can leave it there. Maybe drive it to a shop that can do the welding and pop the shifter out there.
You will also need a torch to heat and bend the tranny shifter (unless you have an auto)
