Title: Inside diameter of coil springs???
Post by: BFM on March 29, 2005, 05:44:24 AM
Sourcing material for some spacers.  I'm having a hard time measuring the I.D. of the top of the springs.  Anyone got it?  I'm also thinking it changes slightly under the load of the vehicle.  So I'd like the I.D. of a spring that's off the vehicle (without doing the removal myself just to measure it).  Any help out there?

As a side note, I'm seeing a lot of sweet rides out of Europe on here.

you need to size the inside dia of the spacer big enough to slip over the bump stop. 2 1/2" dia. hole saw works perfect!

I second the 2-1/2" hole saw for the inner diameter of the coil spacer. It slips over the bump stop perfectly!
