Title: Transmission fluid for 2002 XL-7 which type?

My dads truck needs to be changed what fluid does it take IE dexron III????

I just drained my pan and opened up the driver's side cooler line at the radiator. I let it all drain. Though to properly drain an auto, you need to drain the torque converter also. My burnt bad is not mixed with the new good fluid.

I used Dexron III.
