I'll have 4" of lift, and alot fender trimming and the rims are 15x8 w/ 2.5" BS wheels. I think the 10.50's would fit better, no rubbing. but the ones I want are 150 a piece. I have my LTB's sold |removethispart|@ 250, so I need some cheaper tires in the 33" range. The cheaper ones are 12.50. So, will the 12.50's rub bad ot what?!

I do not think you will rub, or rub as much with that rim backspacing. But if you get boggers or claws, there sidelugs will bite the springs under full turn and almost full turn and a flexing situation.

i was thinking about this last night. the only way you can fit bigger tires with out alot of lift it to keep them narrow. i can't wait to put the 33/12.50s i just got on my tracker to see what rubbing problems i'll have.

Thats what I concluded, I run the 33x9.5s. I tried the 33 x12.5s from my 410 and I would have had to do a LOT of cutting to get clearance, the more offset you run to avoid hitting the footwells the more fender you have to cut. You may have to cut the top of the arches too, the 9.5s just squeeze under at full stuff.

I had the 33x9.5's on my lwb with a 2" bodylift, the OME supension and 3/4" coil spacers and minimal trimming but for something different a guy in our club put 33x12.5's on his swb with no bodylft and just a slight tweak to the suspension and some major cutting and hammering ( the floor become the accelerator pedal stop ) giving it a low CoG.

Do you happen to know what BS rims he had and home much he rubbed if at all??

Just to add some more info to the pics above this is what he said he did.
"As u can see there is not much lift on it, i used 2, 10mm OME coil spacers for a jeep TJ front, all round(stock springs), i then proceded to tear the whole inner guard out, smash the firewall back 4 inches, remove the exelorator stop, extend the bumpstops on the rear about 5 inches to help tip the wheel in on compression, force droop and stop the srings from falling out. I also put 3insh strutt jacks in the front.
Not shure what offset the rims are, but yes it is alot
5.12's are not enough gearing, it will need a rockhopper.
Thats right, i unpicked the rear wheel arch, removed some guard, then eurathaned it up. "

Thank for the info! Looks like the 12.50's might fit after all....
I got a sammi case in place of the stock kick tranny, so I got plenty of gearing!

I trimmed and hammered the firewall back, ir ubs only a little every now and then, but more importantly, you will not have any regrets going with the biggest widest tire you can find

I run 3+3 lift, actually a bit more as i run springs spacers and longer shocks but i started on teh calmini combo , had the floor pans on the front taken back 3 inches , nice fender trim and 33.12.50 fit no rubbing, with 1.8" wheel spacers.
I would be more concerned in if 12.50 will do what you need them to do as I would perfer 10.50s due to the conditions over in the UK, 12.50 on rocks/slate are great but they fill up badly in the mud?

Yes ,SAS and this is how it looks with 31x10,5x15.(31+ actually) .It will get 2" more lift and I want to put bigger tires.I dont want retreads (the ones I have are) cause they are too heavy and because I cant find 32 or 33's here in Greece.
So the choices are limited.I m thinking of puting either the BF 32x11,5x15 MT or 33X10,5x15 MT.I dont know if Wrangler MTR is available at those sizes.
The axles on the front axle are stronger than stock and I ll change the rears with Calmini's stronger ones.
What do you advise me to put ? If i put 33x10,5 I think I ll get too much lift while I believe the 32's will be and seem better.As for stress for the axles I think both tires do so.
Also have in mind that here 80% of offroad driving is done on mud terrain and not on rocks,so a tall and narrow tire is more preffered than a wide and short.
Also if you have to propose another brand in those sizes ,please do so.

Seeing as you have the gearing, I'd go with the 33x10.5's especially as you play in the mud.
