Title: V6 gearbox

Which manual gearbox is fitted to the V6?  Is it the standard Vitara box with different ratios, or is it a different box altogether?

Good question. Also does anybody know if a 4 cyl bellhousing will fit it or visa versa? We might need to contact Hawk Suzuki on this one. :-/ Kinda new still.

Was on Zuwharrie, the bellhousing will fit but the V6 fly wheel won't but I believe Hawk had adapters for that. I'm saving to go this route too, find me a V6 auto and throw that into my 2dr  ;D then fitting the axles under mine with discs on the back and a sammy t-case then the gear ratio will be allmost stock with the 33"s  ;D but I hear cv's breaking I think.... ;)
