Title: The infamous and elusive "Reset Switch"..
Post by: rakkasan on August 09, 2005, 08:20:01 AM
I found the goofy switch exactly where the post of Feb 10, 05 by Rob said it would be!!!..
I have searched for the damn thing  by following the Chilton Manual and the Tracker Maint Manual many frustrating times with no results. With the info Rob posted, I found it in 15 sec.
Thumbs up and long live ROB.!!!!  :)  ;)  :D  ;D

It's the "check engine" duty swicth that comes on every 40K miles or so ...

Damn! I always wondered where that thing was. My old Sami went 241,000 miles, so it came on a lot. I just kept driving until it went off. According to the Sami manual it's way over to the right SOMEWHERE.

I looked for that too but as far as I can tell they're not fitted to UK models, at least not the Spanish built ones anyway, or at least not mine anyway.
