hello

Does the OTT steering bolt up to the King pin bolts ?

The SJ-413/Samurai has an upper kingpin held in place by 4 bolts on top of the front axle's steering knuckles.  In my experience, Breeze's OTT kit is attached via the upper kingpin mounting system.  I believe other OTTs work this way too.

Hope this helps!

on the rocky road one I had it hooked to the four king pin bolts and had a piece that was welded to it that bolted to the two caliper bolts also, the king pin bolts on a samurai are not that strong, toyota maybe,my trail tough ott has two large mounting bolts that replace the caliper mounting bolts and looks to be alot stronger, sky and a few others attach the same way.

The Rocky Road Outfitters and Breeze Industries setups bolt to both the 4 kingpin bolts and the two brake caliper bolts. These are GREAT setups for sure.

The Sky Manufacturing, Trail Tough, and Acme Adapters setups only bolt to the 2 caliper bolts. Althought I would think that they are not as strong I have yet to hear of any breaking.
