Hi . . .
I have a chance to get a 91 Kick with a hard top and aluminum rims for a good price. Body in bad shape though.
I was looking at swapping the "hard top" for the convertible top on my wife's 97 and swapping over the wheels. My wife wants something a little warmer for the winter adn the convertible is a little breezy.
I know the wheels will fit . . . but what about the top??

The top and the wheels will all fit! Have fun and welcome to the board!

Welcome and both top and wheels will fit. You just have to remove ALL of the soft top hardware and brackets, and you'll probably need to move the rubber gasket from around the openings of the roof from the 91 to the 97, unless the 97 has the rubber gaskets...

the only difference is the rear "L" blocks. on a 95 and newer you'll need one m8x65 for each side to bolt the blocks in. transfer the rubber weather strip from the 91 over, and that should do it.

Agent . . .
What the heck is a m8x65 ??? :-\

sorry man,
it's a metric bolt, you need two of them to bolt in the L blocks.
download this installation instruction if you have a protop hardtop. if your hardtop is different then ignore me trying to help ;D
