Title: sidekick to sami trans/tcase?

 can a sami trans mount to a sidekick 1.6 motor. im trying to get the reduction of the
sami's hi and low t case. the sidekicks tcase is a one to one so the hi gear cant be redused.
is thare a adapter for just the sami tcase on a sidekick trans? what can i do other than ring
gears i have 5.12s. i do not want to do too much fabbing. ??? ??? ??? ???

Yes it can be done but it definately requires fabbing.

you need a OTT kicker 3.

a samurai trans(1.3L) can be adapted to a tracker(1.6L) engine with any of the kits on the market for the samurai.  you will need to have drive shafts made, build a crossmember(some fabing) and mabey cut the floors for the shifters.  i think the clutch cable is in the same place.
