Hey there everybody, I'm just dropping a little line in here to announce the birth of our daughter. Her name is Abigail Brenda, and she was born on March 21. She weighed in |removethispart|@ 6 pounds 12 oz and is 19 inches long. She's the first girl born in our family in 44 years on my side, and my wife is the only girl on her side of the family. Everybodys home (XL-7 got us there and back) and Moms healing up. Have fun, Dave ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Congratulations!!! It's a busy time, but a happy time having a new one around, isn't it?! I sure miss all of the early times with our daughter. She's (a very bullheaded) 13 now. You sure hafta enjoy what stage they're at at any given time. I always seem to miss the times that are past. I can't help but smile when I see a 4 year old dancing in a waiting room, etc., etc., but I am trying my darndest to appreciate these early teen years, although it's kinda tough! I am sure that I will miss them in turn, though. Some of my fondest memories are from when Caitlyn was an infant, just beginning to show her personality & sense of humor. Savor these times as they come!!! Once again, CONGRATS!!!

Treasure every moment; she'll be dating before you know it!! Our *baby* (he hates that term, BTW ;D) is now 17 and I cannot tell you how quick the years flew by. Try to take one picture every couple weeks until she's grown and be amazed how fast your life will fly by. Congratulations!!

Thanks guys. She's our third. We have two sons 8 and 6 1/2. I told all the nurses on the ward that when the time comes, anyone that wants to date her has to go through her two big brothers before they even get through to me. ;D And you're right, they grow up too qucik. It took us 4 months for my wife to get pregnant. (Noo complaints here ;D). Due to some medical problems she had, we didn't even know if we could have anymore kids. But this is it, she's the last, she had a tough time delivering, our first two went normal, but this one, after 12 hours of labor, needed to go with a c-section. Then, she had complications in the operating room and the doctor almost had to do an emergency historectomy due to her uterus not wanting to contract. She was bleeding a lot. But, in the end, he injected it with a needle and slowly it went back in. Shes still hurting quite a bit it's been almost a week and she can barely walk. So, I took off next week from work as well to take care of her and all three kids. But she'l be fine, just not a normal c-section recovery. Thanks for all the congrats. And I hope all your upcoming babys come into this world a little easier than ours did. Have fun, Dave

Congratulations on the Baby Girl!!!!
Hope the wife is well soon. Even with all the trouble the wife went thru she has got to be happy to have a girl. Of my two kids the girl was born first and then we had the boy a year later. My bouncing Baby Boy just turned 16 on Saint Pat's Day, his mom is Irish so you can guess what his name is. He got his learners yesterday so now I am a passenger. His sister is driving alone now so we have little discussions as to who is driving and who is walking, need to remind them as to who pays for the insurance and the fuel.

;D ;D ;D Thanks guys, we're beaming. Even though Heather is hurting right now, our little Abby is making up for all of it. We're just trying to enjoy every minute we can with her, they really grow up quick. I'll tell you what, though, as the father of two boys, it sure is diffrent already. I'm planning future father /son projects of building something, and with Abby, well, we'll see. Everyone thinks she'll be playing keep up with the boys and wanting to play Hockey and Soccer, and stuff. No matter what, its all good, and it'll be fine with me, whatever she turns out to be like. Thanks, for all the replys, and best wishes 99 Trackconv and 96 Track. If you guys keep it up with all these kids coming, you'll be like me and in the market for an XL-7 ;D ;D ;D Take care, Dave

Congrads to you both. Glad things turned out well medically. Make sure your wife follows through with the doctors.

Thanks for all the replies guys, sorry, I'm just looking here and realizing this isn't even remotely Suzuki related, thanks for letting me keep this thread here Erik. Daddy's a little on the tired side these days. We're all heading to the first doctor checkup this morning. Thanks again for all the kind words, I really appreciate it. Take care, Dave
