Hi 2 years ago I changed the wipers linkages due to noise problem. I found out this weekend that I will have to change the linkage again.
The plastic bushing where the wiper shaft come out of the hood is so stiff and generate a lot of noise.
Does anyone have similar curse and found a way to correct this situation?
I try to lube the shaft unsucessfully, I will order the part this week it doesn't cost a lot but it going to take me a full day because there is one nut behind the dash.
Thanks.
Andre, Montreal.

R U The one nut behind the dash ???
;)
I have never changed my bushings, I
bet it's because you use your wipers
alot, and also use them to clear snow
off the windscreen.
This would be tough on them, might
see if you could have some brass ones
made, or make them yourself, they would
wear longer I think, as well as brass is
a self lubricating metal, preventing noise
Good Luck

Thanks, there is probably too much salt on the road during winter time and this is bad for the corrosion. I will try to paint the new part with por15 paint and keep a bunch of grease around the axe..
