So my Ranger has neither of it's original bars. My Ram before that lost it's bar. The 93 Tracker 2 door before that mysteriously lost it's bar as well...I'm noticing a trend here... ::) ;)
So uhm, aside from a small increase in travel, generally better ride (less road vibrations transfered to the cab), and a bit more body motion (nothing on the Tracker) I have never noticed a big difference when taking off sway bars.
The GV is a bit different to me because the wife drives it daily and it's still under warranty and being paid for. However, if it's no big deal, off go the sway bar(s). I haven't even looked to see if there's a rear bar. :P
So would removing the sway bar(s) make a difference in on road driving?

I removed mine when i was doing some testig on my suspension i did not like it the handling of the truck went for shits sharp turns the car swayed. and i would only remove it if u are going hard core off roading.

Hmmm, guess I'll just disconnect it and see how we (she) likes it. Thanks.

Well, I disconnected it and had her drive it a few miles. She noticed a bit more body lean in corners and said it felt like it rode better. So I removed it entirely and it sits in a corner of the garage. We'll see if she wants it back on after a while. I doubt it. ;D
Anyone want to buy a stock GV sway bar?
