Title: Wheel backspacing on GV's
Post by: AJMBLAZER on September 04, 2005, 11:36:50 AM: What's the backspacing on Grand Vitara 16" alloy rims?

If I was to get a set of 16x7 steel rims for the GV, what would be the ideal backspacing?Ã‚Â We're planning a 1.5" JDMCRX lift with 225/75R16 mud tires on these rims.

Post by: JDMCRX on September 04, 2005, 01:00:05 PM: By the way if u do 225 or 235/75R16 they wil only rub in the front on a lock to lock turn on the inner splash sheild i had a set of 235 75 R16 on factory steel wheels on my truck no spacers and they only rubbed on the front on lock to lock turns.

They rub here on the front

Measured while I was doing the oil change and tire rotation today. 8)
