I`d like to have the measures of a 1997 sidekick front coil spring spacer.
I already know the diameter of the coil spring itself, but the measures of the spring sokerino is needed, and what I have is not enough.
The wanted lift up is 30 mm (about 1.25 inch).
thanks,
Naor

I sell inexpensive coil spacers in the garage sale forum... 1-1/2" thick... ;)

To lift the front 1.25" you will need a .75" spacer.
To lift the rear 1.25" you will need a 1.25" spacer.

what does a 1.25 in spacer net you in the front???

I would say almost 2"

It will net you broken cv's...

I dunno ... I'm running 1.75" spacers in front, 2" strut spacer, and front diff locked.
Not one broken CV yet.
I've had it buried in deep mud, bounced it around trying to climb steep loose rock, rocked it to escape deep mud and loose rocky climbs :D ... Not been jumping yet tho ;D
I will add tho I'm only running 31" tires, and I think that and I'm pretty easy on the skinny pedal has a lot to do with the CV survival (so far).

I was just putting up the stereotypical post.
Both my brother and i ran 30" tires on ours with pretty hefty cv angles and neither of us broke anything up front, except for some torn cv boots (each of the 4 on both vehicles).
I'm not afraid of any problems in mine, but i never go hard with a turned steering wheel just in case.
I'm lookin forward to testing the strength of it all.
Coil spacers seem to be all the rage lately, and for the costs, i can see why.

Thats getting to the root of it I think, that and landing from jumps with a foot on the gas still. Some people break a LOT of parts and some hardly ever break anything.

I've never had a problem and I'm running 1-1/2" spacers and OME struts up front with 33" swampers. I've blown a diff housing apart, but never had any CV troubles yet(knock on wood ;))
