I just regestered but I'm a long time guest and reader. Members respond to questions no matter how trivial or complex with good info. I've learned a lot myself, thanks!! I usually don't have much to say but enjoy reading the posts. I guess what promped me to register was a post that I read a few days ago about the offroading in the west. I had just returned from the Utah-Colorado area (which is great) and read a post in which members were talking about it being so for to travel to and not really having anywhere ride. Maybe I can help with an area that may be a little closer. I live in Southwest Virginia about 15 miles from Southern West Virginia, and Eastern Kentucky. There are some super trails in this area, old loging roads, well roads, old strip mine roads, ect. None are approved trails just old abandoned roads and great 4-wheelin. From mild to winches and lockers. Anyone interested?

It's great that you're willing to pitch in and help fellow enthusiasts out. What I'd suggest trying is pick a date and a place to meet for a fourwheeling trip. THen post that at the Adventure Forum. Hopefully, people in the area will respond and some new wheeling can happen.

ther r also many sites that list trails all over the U.S. and give maps and trail reports when i travel to an area to go to an off road park i always check to see if there is any free wheeling around. this site is pretty infomative http://www.megspace.com/cars/thundersonlinegarage/offroadn.html i can't find my favorit site at the moment. the only reason i don't like this site that much is because it doesn't give anyone to contact for a lot of the places and few maps.

Much props to Hill Billy, the not-so-newb for doing something that is done FAR TOO SELDOM on this site...Sharing places to take your Zuk!! Finally a post that isn't about what weight oil you run, or a Rally-Kick that doesn't exist(sorry zag, I know you're probably busy and stuff) Too bad I live in a state where going off roading is treated like being a sex offender >:( So good jeorb Billy!
