Title: mud lake trip

if anybody would like to join me i'm going to mud lake on the weekend of sept 17-18. it is about 4-5 hours north of vancouver bc. should be a good 2 day trip if anybody from this area wants to come.

i wouldn't mind going to sunrise lake the first weekend of october (1st or 2nd). i want to try and get in as much wheelin' before it starts snowing. (i live in whistler). let me know if you want to meet up.

sounds like a plan. i'm, pretty sure i'm not on call that weekend so count me in. i live in north van.

me, i can't wait for snow  :) but living in vancouver we never get much, i have to drive to find snow. the bonus of living in a city were you only get two days of snow, is there isn't much salt dropped on the roads, so our cars don't rust here  :)

there was fresh snow on the mountains that weekend!! winter comes quickly up here in the mountains.

that lake is called carpenter lake. it is about 5 hours north of vancouver bc thru whistler and pemberton. that is the actual color of the lake - it is fed mostly by glacier run off. i have been up there 4 times this summer and every time the lake is always a different color.
