Title: bumpers

looking at putting a tow hook onto stock bumper.....are the bumprs strong enough to pull on
it would be a tow eye from a 40,000lbs bus and I would mount using a steel plate behind bumper bar.

Doubtful. The stock front bumper rebar is held on by 4 10mm bolts(2 per side). The bumper itself might hold up to it, but the mounts wont.

that sucks how strong is the factory hook?

I've never had a problem with my stock ring. The one on the rear of the Goblin is questionable because of rust one side has pulled free, but even with only one side holding it still works...
