I just wanted to say that I'm apparently really bad at bending brake lines.
and why is it that the flaring kits that they sell to the public suck soo bad.

Did you get a double flair or a single flair kit, use a spring on it or the cheap way fill it with sand.

I figure that I will need to bend a new driver side one before I go wheeling at naches on the 24th but it should work for operation shore patrol this weekend.
NO Leaks I was amazed.
I bought a double flare kit.
POS if you as me.
the tube bender work really well, now if I would just pay attention to the direction I need to make the bends and not let the tube spin as I'm bending it.
I bought every straight brake line Schucks had in stock in the 20 and 50 and 40 inch lengths.

Ya keep trying, you want to keep them up high, putting a small loop in them won't hurt, at one end. the double is the correct one, kinda hard to use, I'm supposed to be at the clean up also but too far to drive with the gas prices.

Still could be worse for a first timer...
