I pick it up in the morning '96 Sammy - one owner - 58000 original Km's.
I'm thinking of just DDing it for awhile then SPOA with 4.16 Tcase and 32's nothing to extreme ;D

I think it's to straight to beat up so Mudfkr can be for that and this one can be a maller ::)

Everyone needs a DD. I would just "enhance it slightly and enjoy ;).
I have a stock Esc that I always think I should tweak, but it gets a WOF everytime and it gets me to my fishing spots :).
Eventually I think my X90 will take on this role now though, so sorry Esc but your next ;D
I am flying into Wellington this Tues and heading your way - want to catch up?

Nice clean Sami 8)

the first thing I would do is peel the graphics off the side ;D

Yeah for sure ring me on 021 2424 850 and let me know what day as I'm prone to working every hour of the day to fuel my Suzuki habbit but I can make time.
Zooky, Yes it will be loseing the ghey graphics as I don't like them either, not keen on the white soft top as well I think I'd prefer black ?
-
Remove graphics, black soft top, and then SPOA and 31's or 32's ;D
-
Personnelly I'd leave the stickers cause it appears to be a stock option.
( it's a classic now)
Just a SOA and 31"s and some T-case crawler gears.
-
if i was you i'd ship it to me freight prepaid ;)
and i promise on my grandmothers grave, i'll take good care of it ;D
-
No No, ship it to me my Sammy is all kinds of lonely.
nice looking rig by the way

Well I picked her up this morning and drove her 425Km's back home on only 36Lt's of fuel too, 11.8Km/L thats got to be good !!!
As the sales guy said it's a minter ;D still has all original hand books, factory tools and other jazz with it. With the factory Tyres on it pulls along pretty hard for a 1300 no doubt that will change when it get new shoes ;).

Spring over, and 31's on a set of white wagon wheels.
I'm jelous, the last year they made the samurai her was 91, there's none left. I'd love to get one untouched.

Wow, that's PURDY!
I'm not a Sammi guy, but I couldn't pass that beauty up!

Install 3" deaver rear sammy springs all the way around with m/l's in the front and slightly longer shackles in the back. Keep the springs under the axles and install longer shocks and shock mounts. Put 4.9 tcase gears and lockers with some 31" boggers and hit the dirt. Some nerf bars and a petroworks skid pan with some type of Over the top steering and the rocks would not be so bad.
This way you keep the center of gravity really low but have all the gearing needed and more than modest flex for a extremely capable daily driver. It would be a sleeper truck and make you think of how some us old fogeys use to wheel before spoa mania.
Too top it all off, with a cherry on top. Add a roll cage, Sidekick p/s , wheel spacers and some tube or half doors. Presto , done , now take out and impress others with its simplicity.

Boggers for a daily driver? How far to YOU go to work? Half mile or less? :)

Your right, I live really close to work. Oh well, some wide 31" radial tires would help the commute.
