Title: Off the fence (motor swap)
Post by: prairie_dog on September 15, 2005, 10:14:23 PM
After many hours on the net looking for a good weber alternative, that you can still buy a rebuild kit for I said " go BIG or go home" then the cheapness kicked in.

I have all the fuel injection stuff on the floor and a buddy that does auto wiring for a living, so I'm going to bribe him ( beer fridge ;D) the injection maybe slightly less in performance but way more reliable.

As the engine is close to being back together I'll get pics & info on what wires go where, I want this to be a "stand alone" set up

 If anybody is interested ???
Signed " change my mind like my underwear"= at least once a week ;D

Glad you've decided on your approach....

If it does not work out let me know as i found a supplier on the Carb we were talking about and the price is reasonable (comparitively)
