well, the day began with my friend looking for parts to fit on his landrover 90,(not very interesting i know) so we took a trip to a guy down the road who has a collection of rusted old heaps in the hope he would give us loads of parts for free.....
Anyways, we had a mooch round, an i spotted an old Sanatana under a load of brambles.. so we asked him about it and whether he would part with her, an he was like "sure, take her.... great little toy, puts my land rovers to shame!!" we had a laugh, then he mentioned another guy he knew who also had a santana needing rid of.... you see where this is going now....
So we went an had a look at it, and wow!!! pretty much standard, appart from nice bull bars with spots, roof mounted spots also... bit rusty... buckets seats with 4 point harness... and the best part... 2 pice chrome wheels, with georgous full on mud tyres!!!!
anyways.... just ahd to share that with someone as all my mates arent answerin there phones...
should be able to make a hard core offf roader now, as i will still have a vehicle on the roads, expect to see good things!!!!

Good for you Andy!! I'm not real sure what you scored under those brambles but its probably just a " name thing " ??? :) and someone is gonna splain it to me any minute now...Have fun

Santana is a Samurai made in the Santana factory in Spain ;)

a santana is basically a samurai, but made in spain, an has a few minor differences...
I'll try an get some photos of them all together to show all of you, but for now, heres a link showing what the tyres look like

I like those tires, I wonder how they would actually work. Please let us know!
Them "Greenway" tires look to have a 'copy' of each of the popular brands over here.

well, i already had a set of colway c-trax mt's an a pair of the at's aswell, and the mt's have never let me down!
there only 195 wide, but they sink right through the mud an dig in... ive also used them on the beach in really soft sand, and again, really impressive...
i'll try an get the new wheels/tires on tonight an give them a burn through some mud an let u know what theyre like... i have a feeling they could be good in the stupidly thick stuff, but not much else... :-\
anyways, i'll let u know

well. ive got one of the santanas home, boy shes rusty! sructually sound... but bodywise... shes gone...
the wheels are georgeous, proper chrome i think, and 2 piece!! with a bit of TLC they will look even better...
the tires... wow theyre fat, but only 195??? the tread seems to stick out miles! if any one can give me a tip on how to put pictures on the forum then i can show you all my toys...
