i was looking at a listing for a sammi and it says it "has a new crate motor." can anyoen explain to me exactly what that is?
-
A crate motor is usually a motor shipped over from japan with low miles on it.
-
Or it could be a N.O.S(New Old Stock) Possibly still available through Suzuki parts. But why, there are so many good used motors left around. Why go to all the trouble? On a separate note, does the "crate" in crate motor mean a milk crate when dealing with a Sammi ;D

I think your giving the 1.3 too much space credit. Unless it's two per crate
:P
but hey having an engine you can pick up with your bare hands is nice tool
