Title: Is this tracker a good deal? please help
Post by: Festiva on September 21, 2005, 10:58:30 AM
Hi there guys, i have been looking for a tracker or sidekick for over a month now, i cant find anything under 100k miles with a 5-speed, however...

I found one sitting on the side of some old guys house,.
its a 93 white tracker, the guy bought a new hardtop for it, and just plopped it on with no hardware, etc...
seats, console, carpet are out laying in the back,
owner put a new fender and grill on it, (needs paint)
other then that it looks fairly clean with 110k on the clock.
(looks like new under the hood)
owner wants $750.. does this seem like a good deal?
he says it runs and drives great..
 Thanks!

i'd probably buy it, or let someone else know where it is so they can buy it.

Bring him $400 cash and you'll get it.  Just don't let the top fly off the back while you're doing burnouts to get out of there...

sounds like a deal, depending on its' running condition

UUUUHHHHHHhhhh where is it  :-\ I'm prety sure you DONT want it if it is any where near middle TN. Give me the location and I will run by there and check it out for you, right after I go by the bank for some cash  ;D

The new hard top should get you half of what he is asking, I'd probably go fo it if it ran good.

If it runs *at all*, I'd say $750 is good. Sounds like it probably has some other issues, but these things are simple/cheap to fix usually. At least at $750 you could part it (especially with a decnet hard top!)
