Well guys went to my friends work they owed me money and they had these things i was like hell its gonna cost me $10 bucks for so i bought it put it in the intake. The constrution is very hard might i say i dunno how people say they fall apart but we will see.
First off i notice more response in the midrange on throtle tip in.
Tpo end the truck now pulls a bit better past 6,000rpm
I drive 1,000 plus KM per weekend and i drive with me and 2 other guys in the truck and same route and speeds and i get about 500-520km per tank max so we will see tonight how much better gas millage i get.

Well guys did 500km on it same driving but was raining hard and i passed about 12 cars i drove 500km and i still have over 1/8 of tank so im not sure most I got out of a tank was 540 so we will see what i can get now. So far it works.
-
I had heard about it, but never on a GV. I see it is useful. Let's see how the mileage turns out.
-
Interesting.... Did you ever end up measuring a difference in MPG with the new exhaust before testing out the Tornado?
-
Hey guys,
I installed a tornado on my '01 tracker 2.0 , if it's all highway miles, I saw and extra 40-50 km per tank, but zero for city driving. There's my 2 cents anyway.

Did you ever notice any improvement with it?

What speed do you guys cruise at on the open road ???
I bought a stock '99 2.5 V6 GV and am getting just under 11km / litre at 110km/hr. That works out at 710km / tank of gas ( 66 litres ).
I dont get it ::)
-
Well for power wise with my mods i did notice some power gain. As for km per tank highway hills and so forth doing 80-130kmph. I was getting 520km -550km. Now in town im getting 450-470km.
I can get them for like $65 plus tax if id have to look.
Im gonna test it out on my dads truck the XL7 that thing is a pig 35-390km per tank never 400km per tank.

I get 11 l/100km with the 2.0 so there's another plus for the 2.5 if I can get your sort of mileage.

Measuring "mileage" with litres/km just confuses me..
-
Sorry beercheck,
I guess it is a southern thing ::) aye cj ;)
Works for us ;D
11 l/100km cj - sounds a bit thirsty. Is your rig auto? My experience suggests that auto's seem to use a little bit more gas :-[ but I must say, auto's sure are nice off road. Never used an auto off road until recently ( my 2.0 V6 ) and I just love it ;D ;D ;D

Yes, 2.0 V6 auto and LWB which won't help compared to your 2.0 V6 SWB at 11km/l or 9.1l/100km or 26.7 mpg(US). The following is from the Owners Manual for the LWB in litres per 100 km(Miles per US Gallon).
Urban 90km/h (56mph) 120km/h (75mph)
Manual 12.9 (18.8) 8.2 (29.6) 10.6 (22.9)
Auto 13.3 (18.3) 8.5 (28.6) 10.9 (22.3)

Can anyone sum up a final km/litre count?
(or miles/gallon)
Increase/Decrease?
Ive always seen these things but almost everything I read say theyre junk.
