Calmini make a bolt in Tray for a second battery part# SS1590 $59.95
or fold some thing up your self out of sheet metal and bolt it in.

I relocated a battery to the LHS of a 413 by folding up a tray no too hard to do.

Check your winch to make sure it's not dragging, sometimes the shafts will seize, gears, ect; some have brakes in them to hold. I have a 6000 on one Sammy and a 8,000 on another. A lot more than is needed but no power problems.

One other option that you may want to try is to get a larger battery with greater cranking amps, sometimes if you've an old or under rated battery it'll cause more drainage than you'ld think possible.  One option that I did for my Father-in-law's heep is install a good Gel Cell battery.
I got the Idea from my little brother who did this in a truck with to much Stereo, A full size GM product, and he would drain the battery with it running. Added the Gel Cell and seemed to fix the problem.

Just a thought

I run a yello top in the front and a same amp hour in the back , i have just linked them witha  cut out switch,   it does make things easier but i havant winched alot for ages so i havant properly tested it out,

I do know when the car was sat around the front battery had gone flat , just had to switch on the rear one start her up and then let it charge was well handy.

only issues was i had to get the in sync.  basically let the rear go flat so it was tricked by the front one , it sems to work fine now which ever battery is low it seems to draw the charge as I have two voltmeters

[sarchazm] I had the same power-shortage problem with my boomin system.  What about adding a bank of capacitors? [/sarchazm]
