Had 3 mounting bolts shear off from the RHS of my steel front axle the other weekend :(
Found a local mechanic who said he could drill out the old threads and tap them out :D
He did a lovely job. Except that he spotted the ARB bulkhead fitting had broken in half, and tried to be helpful by removing it from the outside. He cut through the copper pipe :'(

So it's a race to get spares and get them fitted so I can go out with MarkyB this weekend - his first trip in his sammy axle conversion....

Got it sorted - new bulkhead kit and seal, managed to fit it all without removing the diff from the 3rd member housing. ;D
So off out in the mud tomorrow with mbmarkyb and his sammy axle conversion for the first time - mustn't forget the camera!
Cheers
