Title: Suspension parts
Post by: mbmarkyb on October 18, 2005, 02:54:59 AM
There was talk of a place that sells suspension parts for the kick, you can buy them individually rather than a whole 2 inch 3 inch kit,

I need a couple of brackets and cant remeber the site address  the shop is in Turkey.

anyone know

I swapped emails with them some time ago. They would only accept Western Union or a money transfer, I prefer the security that I have when ordering with a credit card. They are still in business so they must be doing something right.

You wont get a response...I also asked for some parts sometime ago but got no response.Other friends also asked for parts but no replies...Maybe the supply only the German shop ,I dont know. But as far as I know,a friend-mechanic that had cooperation with them and could get parts (not complete kit) ,now lost contact.Strange customer support service..... :P  Anyway ,my advise before buying anything,is get their tech specs first, especially for the quality of metals (r&p).

The trouble with the online ordering is that you can't actually order it on line ::)

the bits i am after is the  front  passenger drop bracket the 4 bolt.

and the rear A frame.

I used the drop bracke to make my panard rod mount as it was superb.
I have kepted the rear preety much the same apart from i have chanegd teh springs shocks for longer bigger.

My plan is to sell the kit to buy some new rubber.  i may end up going to a fab shop to have the bits made and sell it as a 3 inch kit rather than calmini 3 inch so i dont up set anyone.

Hey Mike, while you're there I could do with a centre diff bracket to replace the one that got lost when I moved house. They wouldn't sell me one  :(

Hi there,
just red this article. I´m from Munich, Germany and was trying to get some parts from 4x4arts.
When writing emails to them from germany they just told us to contact hillbilly enginering. But Hillbilly is quite expensive. A few month ago I tried to contact 4x4art several times over a friend from Czech Republik, but we never got a answer.
A few day ago I found out, that hillbilly hasn´t got their stuff on the homepage any more.
Bye.
