What does this mean for a warning light on my dash:  (!)
Any help would be great... I think it has something to do with breaks, but the E-break isn't being used and I have topped up my fluids... what else can I do... Jeeez, something must be wrong 'cause my ride just doesn't 'feel' right....

does it stay o n all the time? cuz if you use the e brake lots some times that little switchy thing needs a little tweek.. or it could be some thing else... try it and see
-
oh yah it's the e brake light....lol
-
I used to see that sign only when I would take a turn fast or brake hard, and then I got my front brakes changed and I'v never seen the sign ever again.

It's low brake fluid or E-brake is on,
or switch is stuck/out of adjustment

Yeh check your brake fluid level, you should be able to do it pretty simply, if the level is low top it up.
If that doesnt work, i would think about getting the brakes checked by a garage, they are quite an important part!!! ;D
-
It's the PAY ATTENTION light. It should be on at all times. ;D
-
The ! is also called "the bang symbol" to Unix and Coding geeks...
so.. maybe it means it's a "Bang Warning Light"? Like if you don't pay attention to it, something might go... "BANG".
;D

mine was on perminitly, and i was confused, turns out both of my brake lights were burnt out, put new bulbs in and it shut off.

Thanks all for the quick responses. I topped up brake fluid. I'm having some exhaust work done at a muffler shop that does brakes as well, so I'll get them to check the front and rear brakes. I was hit a while back and my brakes were smoking bad that night, so maybe they need to be looked at asap. Winter is coming and I think it would be a great idea! One more thing though: How do I 'tweak' my switch for the light on the dash, if everything checks out ok that is... I had my ECM replaced as well a while back, so I guess this warning light could be from a many number of things! Joy! Thanks again all,
