Title: Hagan widening???

IÃ‚Â´m from Germany and so my English is quite good but not perfect.
Can anybody explain me what a "Hagan Widening" is ???

Post by: ed oorklep on October 20, 2005, 11:12:49 AM: No it's not cutting. I'll try to explain it the easiest way. The "Hagen" widening is named after a member here, Mike Hagen. It means that you relocate the A-arms that hold the wheel. So if you go and lie under the vehicle you see 2 A-arms that connect to the underside of the "wheel" if you look at the back side of those you see that you are able to put them out some at the rear on the crossmember. Finally I know what it means. But do I have to do it on both sides? In the article is written just to do it on the right side.
Or was it just because of the modification of the cv shaft?

I ve already talked to them and IÃ‚Â´ll get TÃƒÅ“V on Bodylift, Coils, Tires. So I just try out.

I'm bone stock other than 1.75" lift with coil spacers, and would just want to reloacate the a-arms without all the other stuff, is that possible?

Post by: Rhinoman on October 22, 2005, 02:31:49 PM: You can use a spacer on the (US) drivers side to lengthen the drive shaft. On the passenger side the driveshaft is a push in arrangement so you can't use a spacer. Instead you need to modify the set up to fit a drivers side shaft.
