Based on the research I've done for a steel front housing, any front 3rd member housing shall work. However, the Trackick housing will be aluminum and have a way of attaching to the frame. The Vitara model can be cast steel or aluminum and will have a different frame attachment. Both are said to be 7" ring gear diameter.

Zukipilot used a cast steel XL7 (Vitara model) 3rd member housing with his Anvil. There is an article in the article archive.

You could use the stock alloy sidekick one but that kinda defeats the purpose of the anvil.

With the alloy one youd still be leaving a weak point in there. If you did decide to use the sidekick one youd still have to  make sure yours has a 26 spline inner axle not a 22 spline and if not you'd have to find 26 spline side gears and inner axle to match then change it over.

I have a GV steel front, I used the 5:83s from my old shape Track/Kick/Vit in the GV diff so the sizes are indeed the same. The GV third member mounting is the same as the Track/Kick, the XL7 is different. I kept the air actuated diff so i have 2wd low.
