Post by: brawnyrebel on October 26, 2005, 05:02:24 AM
Im trying to remove the fuel line from the gas tank of my samurai. Does any one know the tool or wrench size to hold the small side of the fitting. i know the big side is 17mm but i can't get anything on the small side. Any help will be appreciated.

Looking at my tanks they don't have a nut shaped fitting on the small side it just round.

Pics are always better way to describe ...

just cut the line in two about five inches or so from the tank and flair the ends a little and put some fuel line and a couple of clamps on it, if you twist that line going into the tank you will have a fun time trying to fix it.
