Title: Manual Tranny Lub for A/T??? HELP PLEASE!!!
Post by: PYRO on November 02, 2005, 01:21:06 PM
The spec the link below describes the lub to use on Manual and Auto tranny and is the same!!! :o, I'm confused, Isn't auto tranny lub different (less weight) than Manual? Will it do any harm to an Auto Tranny to run with manual tranny lub?? Is manual lub better for hardcore wheeling with auto tranny, please with your knowledge could you recommend what lub should I use for my next A/T oil change. I got a 92 Tracker, 3 speed A/T and is doing estrange shifting when I turn, or after highway drive, it seems to slip on 1st.
Thanks

Not that it applies here--Some manual trannies are specified to use ATF.
