Title: Slider ideas

I am needing to put a pair of sliders on our little Sami so I just wanted to get ideas from people that already have them.
Anyone have pictures, brands, ideas, etc.
At this time because of the rust on the rocker panels I am leaning toward some time of slider that will wrap around like a piece of ankle iron would do.

i used to have a samurai that i cut enough of the rusty rocker to put a piece of 2"x2" squair tube in to replace the rust and dubbed as a slider

HARD TO MAKE OUT  IT'S 2" SCH 40 PIPE THE TOP IS NOTCHED OUT AND DIAMOND PLATE WELDED IN. THESE ARE HELL FOR STOUT. WELDED DIRECT TO FRAME. THE STRETCHED SAMI IN READER RIDES. BLUE WITH FLAMES

Seems your going for the eliminate the rust problem as well I'd be doing the 2x2" box section as mesjr2004 suggested. Done correctly it won't look like at ghetto fix, is relatively cheap to do and works very well as a slider too.

I wasn't planning on fixing the rust just cover it up. I guess I could try and cut it out and do the 2x2 tubing.

On my Explorer I built sliders that just hook to the body and so far they have done well. When I get to a spot I need to use them I take it easy because I don't want to tear up my vehicle so I was just wondering if it would work for the Sami or do I need to build them to the frame??
Only bad part about hooking them to the frame is you have to leave room for the body/frame movement.

If you have a welder,,,,,,just weld some  1/4" angle on.

Yes I really like these but I don't like the price specially since I have to have them shipped and that's not part of the price.
