Post by: karl214 on November 07, 2005, 02:13:06 AM
Does anyone know where i can buy the O ring that goes on the pipe off the back of the waterpump?? I've tryed autozone and advanced auto no luck there.. Went to napa found some but they don't seem to be right as the pipe still leaks coolant..

You should be able to use generic O-rings,
match the size of the tube as well as the size
of the ring matierial, and a little tight is fine,
better stretched than loose, and use a light
coating of silicone in the water pump inlet to
help seal those leaks, the silicone should make
a small buildup as the tube slides in, as well as
it helps slip it all together easy

They would have it. Just ask for John at the parts counter. He will take good care of you.
